Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Klement Bara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valērijs Bensons in the 12th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Felenak in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Rokita Brzeg Dolny got a freekick which was hit by Valērijs Bensons. 21 minutes into the match, Rokita Brzeg Dolny's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Klement Bara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klement Bara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced Rokita Brzeg Dolny's goalkeeper Klement Bara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kazimierz Felenak in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Klement Bara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Felenak, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Calistrat Trăistaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Rokita Brzeg Dolny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Escobar to maneuver through the defense.

In the 50th minute, Kazimierz Felenak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Iwo Domin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Felenak in the 61st minute of play. Gabriel Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rokita Brzeg Dolny made a substitution. Tolek Bugno replaced Calistrat Trăistaru. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valērijs Bensons in the 69th minute of play. After 72 minutes, Valērijs Bensons made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valērijs Bensons in the 79th minute of play. When Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Valērijs Bensons in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rokita Brzeg Dolny had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
