After 7 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristian Odén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Wester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristian Odén came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ralles Bollklubb's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Kristian Odén, making the score, 0-4. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ralles Bollklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Påk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Kristian Odén to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Kristian Odén in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Ralles Bollklubb's goalkeeper Kristian Odén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ralles Bollklubb's Kristian Odén got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Ralles Bollklubb's Kristian Odén managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 94 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristian Odén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ralles Bollklubb throughout the match.
