When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ronalds McDonald sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. 63 minutes into the game, Narciso Paulista threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ivan Navarro got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When the final whistle sounded Desportivo Coala left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Honduras.
