Lucio Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Orlo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Barış Yorangil in the 31st minute of the match. Lucio Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Lucio Ur was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for C. A. Potrero through an amazing save. Lucio Ur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 40th minute of the match. Lucio Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, C. A. Potrero's Lucio Ur got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Barış Yorangil made a kick off. Lucio Ur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 59th match minute, C. A. Potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Sidro to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucio Ur skillfully saved the ball. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Mustafa Barış Yorangil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C. A. Potrero's Celestino Sidro. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Ur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
