Camilo Gisbert made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Szel. Jan Szel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jan Szel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Zbigniew Gregorczyk hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, SuRpRiSe's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jan Szel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Szel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SuRpRiSe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Szel should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. SuRpRiSe's Jan Szel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play. The SuRpRiSe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliks Penkalski to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Jan Szel however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, SuRpRiSe's Jan Szel got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 54th minute of play forced SuRpRiSe's goalkeeper Jan Szel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Szel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jan Szel managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Ecuador's Primitivo Andino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. From close distance Cristian Sancho pressed in the 0-9 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 61 minutes into the game. In the 65th minute, Felix Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan Szel. The goal made the score 0-10. The supporters of SuRpRiSe booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Jan Szel. After 74 minutes, Maksymilian Zielinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuRpRiSe and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SuRpRiSe getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Maksymilian Zielinski hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Jan Szel in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Szel having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, SuRpRiSe's goalkeeper Jan Szel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in 91 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jan Szel guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jan Szel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho had several of the SuRpRiSe's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-13 score and a disappointed Jan Szel as he didn't even see the shot coming.
