Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eraldo Fantini took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Gael Kirac in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gael Kirac. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Gael Kirac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lyon 69ers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Agustín Saelices drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Lecanu in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Lyon 69ers got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mathias Lecanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 29 minutes, Robert Garrigues made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Lyon 69ers's Gael Kirac. Gael Kirac was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4-1 became the score in the 42nd minute when Daniel Zorita elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lyon 69ers's Gael Kirac proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Lyon 69ers from getting a goal against them. In the 46th match minute, Lyon 69ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Lecanu to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gael Kirac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Lyon 69ers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Gael Kirac despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gael Kirac made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 71 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Gael Kirac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eraldo Fantini in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gael Kirac made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Gael Kirac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gael Kirac was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Garrigues in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Eraldo Fantini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gael Kirac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Lyon 69ers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gael Kirac quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 91st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gael Kirac in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
