Julio Vera was a little too slow when Hu Yao Nan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Hu Yao Nan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hu Yao Nan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hu Yao Nan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Régis Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ye Kang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 14th minute of play. Hu Yao Nan struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toni Kroos MGZ™. In the 21stth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Ye Kang Zhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ye Kang Zhan. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Kang Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Hu Yao Nan sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. 30 minutes into the match, Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ye Kang Zhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hu Yao Nan might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hu Yao Nan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ye Kang Zhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 36th minute of the match. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goalie prevented a goal. Ye Kang Zhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hu Yao Nan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ye Kang Zhan in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hu Yao Nan's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ye Kang Zhan. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Hu Yao Nan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Hu Yao Nan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Hu Yao Nan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hu Yao Nan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Toni Kroos MGZ™ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Régis Lima hit a great ball. Luis Andino scored 2-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ye Kang Zhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ye Kang Zhan made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Tạ Rado hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Toni Kroos MGZ™'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ye Kang Zhan came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
