In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Albertinho de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xurupita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertinho de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Xurupita FC's Gustavo Coelho. Gustavo Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Xurupita FC were awarded a corner. Emerson Jacaré went to the cornerflag to take it. Emerson Jacaré made a great header on Xurupita FC's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. 26 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Gustavo Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Ceresso hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when Xurupita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Santino Seco hit a great ball. Abram Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Coelho having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 52 minutes, Joshua Garrido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Garrido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xurupita FC's Gustavo Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play. A hard shot 61 in the game by Axel Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Gustavo Coelho managed to make a qualified save. Xurupita FC's players were relieved. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilian Vântu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Gustavo Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Emerson Jacaré had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Jacaré was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Xurupita FC's 姜响昆 was substituted for Valer Muscaș. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilian Vântu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gustavo Coelho was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Ignacio Mastache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Mastache really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Xurupita FC's Gustavo Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Xurupita FC from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Secada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. The Colombia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Xurupita FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
