Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvinho de Castro kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Alphonse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Gomes was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Rodriguinho Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Dorval made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Proteu's Bernardinho Corrêa. In the 30th minute Raymond Louis suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Eduardo Ferraz during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Haiti made a substitution. Edmond Thomas replaced Raymond Louis. After a rather tough play, Proteu's Luís Eduardo Ferraz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Jonathan Alphonse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Rodney Emmanuel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Proteu's Gugu Tasso quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 43 minutes into the match, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmundo Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ernso Constant came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Haiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernso Constant couldn't finish the play.

Gesner Philippe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguinho Ramos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Edmundo Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmond Thomas in the 66th minute of the match. Ernso Constant struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Edmundo Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Edmundo Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jonathan Alphonse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Alphonse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Ramos. In the 77thth minute of the game Jonathan Alphonse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Proteu's Edmundo Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Luiz Tasso got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vânderson Godoi. If Silvinho de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Proteu's Silvinho de Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Seide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jean Claude Ulysse hit a great ball. Vânderson Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. Despite being the better team, Haiti failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
