Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willem-Jan Hollanders having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tim Vranken's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Dany-Adams Coeckelberghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Les Bistouquettes Bleues fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Thananiti Cheewawipat came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dany-Adams Coeckelberghs in the 54th minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Willem-Jan Hollanders despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute of play. Willem-Jan Hollanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Vranken came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Arsene Van Hamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
