Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Narbut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Narbut in the 22nd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Kalak having to make a save. Del Acuerdo's Stefan Kalak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Del Acuerdo from getting a goal against them. Teofil Narbut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Teofil Narbut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofil Narbut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofil Narbut, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Kalak having to interfere. Del Acuerdo's Jeremias Pepillo was substituted for Teofil Narbut.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Pepillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celso Rumaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Stefan Kalak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Del Acuerdo got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Gurutz. Stefan Kalak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Celso Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Pepillo in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 74 minutes Del Acuerdo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Del Acuerdo's goalie and right to Salvador Gisbert. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Del Acuerdo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 76th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Pepillo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Kalak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Kalak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of play forced Del Acuerdo's goalkeeper Stefan Kalak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Rumaldo. When Siro Santos fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Del Acuerdo's protests and gave Siro Santos a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Celso Rumaldo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celso Rumaldo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After having played for 97 minutes, Sebastian Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Del Acuerdo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Daunte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Del Acuerdo played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
