Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yance Effendy's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Gala's Syahril Rungkat got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Gala getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Pinilih Afiff hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indra Basri to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador played a much better game than Gala and deserved their victory. The Gala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
