Encarale a la gordita's Laerte Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Encarale a la gordita's Laerte Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laerte Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laerte Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Laerte Messias didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laerte Messias. Laerte Messias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Dodorol made a kick off. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Laerte Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Encarale a la gordita's Laerte Messias tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Laerte Messias however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montes in the 75th minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Laerte Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laerte Messias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Laerte Messias came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Laerte Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 86th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Laerte Messias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felix Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Laerte Messias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 93 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laerte Messias. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Encarale a la gordita.
