But to his dismay, Su Čuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Su Čuk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Çakır Alyakut came out and tried to block the shot, but Su Čuk slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. Uchenna Panter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Veerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Johansson in the 34th minute of play forced U21 Turkey's goalkeeper Uchenna Panter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uchenna Panter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıdvan Balıkçı, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Christoffel Bracke kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes U21 Turkey got a freekick which was hit by Su Čuk. Uchenna Panter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıdvan Balıkçı, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Su Čuk was the one to do the kick off. In the 93rdth minute of the game Nedim Üster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Turkey's Uchenna Panter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1930 Bafraspor's Erdal Tamkoç was substituted for Henk Veerman. U21 Turkey succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though 1930 Bafraspor had controlled the match.
