Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. Kemalettin Torhan scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kemalettin Torhan in the 8th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cumhur Tanacan in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Cumhur Tanacan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cumhur Tanacan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cumhur Tanacan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 22 minutes, Cumhur Tanacan made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Kemalettin Torhan made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 30th minute Cumhur Tanacan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Beldad came free, but Lee Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulysses Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Jonathan Willetts got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Kevin Carballal got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Uruguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clapham Comets F.C. were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cumhur Tanacan made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Lee Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cumhur Tanacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Ulysses Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Madureira came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Kemalettin Torhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Kemalettin Torhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cumhur Tanacan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-7 in the 78 minute of play. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Calum Frost got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ulysses Madureira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Cumhur Tanacan got a free kick in the 84th minute. Lee Kerr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 87th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulysses Madureiras short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
