In the 14th match minute, RIBEIRÃO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Melentie to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Ongile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes RIBEIRÃO FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Admon. Angelo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 28th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, RIBEIRÃO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Angelo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Ongile. RIBEIRÃO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Ongile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Luca Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Ongile. That made the score 0-4 after 56 minutes of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when RIBEIRÃO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. RIBEIRÃO FC's Angelo Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save RIBEIRÃO FC from getting a goal against them. RIBEIRÃO FC's Angelo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Luca Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Ongile was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. 78 minutes into the match, RIBEIRÃO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Angelo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Ongile quite easily take care of the ball. If Gustavo Gomez Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 81 minutes, Wilian Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RIBEIRÃO FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 89th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico played a much better game than RIBEIRÃO FC and deserved their victory. The RIBEIRÃO FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
