Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CSD Concepción's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Celedonio Latapiat, making the score, 2-0. In the 9th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayron Landaeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Latapiat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Celedonio Latapiat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, CSD Concepción's Celedonio Latapiat got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Lacasa had several of the CSD Concepción's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Celedonio Latapiat as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mariano Lacasa scored 5-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Latapiat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chile's attack was well implemented in the 39th minute, but when Mariano Lacasa was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Celedonio Latapiat in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frances Gacitúa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Latapiat was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Chile's Mariano Lacasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Celedonio Latapiat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celedonio Latapiat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Serrano. Celedonio Latapiat came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig. But to his dismay, Guillermo Fontirroig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. A collision led to CSD Concepción getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Elear Faverau hit a great ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Celedonio Latapiat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Niceto Serrano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Celedonio Latapiat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillermo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Latapiat having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, CSD Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Finlay to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Latapiat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Latapiat was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 92 minutes of play, Chile's Orlando Casaus made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
