Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nina fc's goalkeeper Higinio Sansone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Raphael Moore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Navarro's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Prata came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Nina fc getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zachary Blochowiak hit a great ball. Higinio Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 24th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Nina fc got a freekick which was hit by André Jacinto. In the 31st minute, Cassius Byrne made a precise shot to the right of Higinio Sansone. Nina fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Higinio Sansone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubens Prata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Nina fc were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aldo Navarro took the corner. The corner led Nina fc's Aldo Navarro to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Nina fc's Rubens Prata in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. Higinio Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of the match. USA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Macerio in the 60th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Jacinto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Nina fc's Higinio Sansone got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. USA were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Nina fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Monty Rogers took the corner. In the 76th minute of the match USA got a corner. Nina fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Monty Rogers ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led USA's Diego Bradley to fire away a dangerous shot which Higinio Sansone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Higinio Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Higinio Sansone in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Saul Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
