Ringsted drenge's Lucas Ellergaard got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kennet Hemdorff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 35th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Ruben Vrou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Ellergaard was the one to do the kick off. Kennet Hemdorff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 53rd minute. After 59 played minutes Ringsted drenge got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Thopel. In the 66th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kennet Hemdorff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Ellergaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kennet Hemdorff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 74th minute of play. A hard shot 74 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Kennet Hemdorff managed to make a qualified save. Ringsted drenge's players were relieved. Silas Hørkilde kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Ringsted drenge's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Kennet Hemdorff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theis Kakourow kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Ellergaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Costa Rica players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
