Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergen Kutsalan took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Calentura got a freekick which was hit by Allan Kellberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Barreiros got free with Julio Vera in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iulian Isaicu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Calentura's Cristian Coria got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Luciano Barreiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergen Kutsalan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergen Kutsalan in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sergen Kutsalan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calentura's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergen Kutsalan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calentura's Vacid Seralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calentura's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Calentura's Vacid Seralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergen Kutsalan in the 40th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Luciano Barreiros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luciano Barreiros really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 47th minute, Romo Viñambre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Sergen Kutsalan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Barreiros came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vacid Seralp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergen Kutsalan might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergen Kutsalan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th match minute, Calentura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Isaicu to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Calentura's goalkeeper Vacid Seralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Luis Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the game, Sergio Persol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vacid Seralp made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romo Viñambre, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Calentura could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
