Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when İbrahim Volkan kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice moves Damian Maftei could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. After 5 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stefanos Terzopoulos who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Esmeraldas S.C.'s corner Stefanos Terzopoulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. In the 6th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Maftei struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esmeraldas S.C.. After a rather tough play, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Torsti Puistola got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute İbrahim Volkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martinez Cines in the 28th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Esmeraldas S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghitã Fratea to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Axel Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aguinaga Nebot skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Stefanos Terzopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Stefanos Terzopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, İbrahim Volkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aguinaga Nebot was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Pinto Cubria got a free kick in the 61st minute. Esmeraldas S.C. made a substitution. Daniel Castillo replaced Martinez Cines. Pinto Cubria hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match, Orlando Tafalla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aguinaga Nebot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aguinaga Nebot quite easily take care of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Petersson came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Aguinaga Nebot managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 75th minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aguinaga Nebot saved Esmeraldas S.C. from getting behind. Ghitã Fratea hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Abram Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santino Seco got free with Aguinaga Nebot in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aguinaga Nebot was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Kevin Mastache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kevin Mastache really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Mastache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aguinaga Nebot was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Damian Maftei struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esmeraldas S.C.. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
