Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Börje Hamnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Lucas Ugutz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carapa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 30th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Ugutz to make the kick off. Carapa FC's Lucas Ugutz got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Lucas Ugutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Carapa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Hamnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carapa FC made a substitution. Eulalio Elequemedo replaced Eugenio Toppi. After 66 played minutes Carapa FC got a freekick which was hit by Börje Hamnberg. Börje Hamnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Börje Hamnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Carapa FC's Börje Hamnberg got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Ugutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Braulio Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Ugutz scored 4-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Virgilio Laffitte made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Carapa FC's Lucas Ugutz got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Carapa FC could leave the field as winners, despite Venezuela having more of the ball for most of the match.
