Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Jüri Oksa hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, Giuliano Basso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Giuliano Basso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Özdemir Özgenc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuliano Basso in the 27th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play forced Gümüşhane's goalkeeper Özdemir Özgenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gümüşhane defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özdemir Özgenc. The Gümüşhane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özdemir Özgenc should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Gümüşhane's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özdemir Özgenc came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giuliano Basso was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. 54 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sabri Oyhan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Gümüşhane's Özdemir Özgenc got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gümüşhane were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sabri Oyhan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sabri Oyhan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Özdemir Özgenc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gümüşhane's Giuliano Basso got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Özdemir Özgenc made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Özdemir Özgenc was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Giuliano Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Gümüşhane players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Giuliano Basso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gümüşhane.
