Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Troy Rangel came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Rodolfo Cordero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodolfo Cordero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 8th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shayne Cagle in the 9th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Cordero in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Waterbury Rangers booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Rodolfo Cordero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Werner Comer with Bradley Romano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 29 minutes, Rodolfo Cordero made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Shayne Cagle might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shayne Cagle ran back to his position shaking his head. After 36th play minutes Shayne Cagle shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Lautaro Navarro and just under the crossbar into goal. 45 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waterbury Rangers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Bradley Romano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Bradley Romano slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shayne Cagle made a kick off. Werner Comer made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bradley Romano. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordero in the 53rd minute of play. Waterbury Rangers were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ryan Esparza took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ryan Esparza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Cordero in the 58th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Rodolfo Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Shayne Cagle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shayne Cagle in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Boyd Donnelly made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Shayne Cagle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waterbury Rangers's Truman Haines was substituted for Alfonso Buck. 78 minutes into the game, Waterbury Rangers's Shayne Cagle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Cordero in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. When Waterbury Rangers's Rodolfo Cordero in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Waterbury Rangers getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Shayne Cagle hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Shayne Cagle made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. 94 minutes into the match, Milton Canales notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
