Eugenio Santoro came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Urbs LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Testa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Santoro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliseo Mina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efraim Gilabert during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Urbs LC's attentive Beppe Aversano managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Eugenio Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Santoro saved Urbs LC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 60th minute of play forced Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Urbs LC for a fine match.
