In the 6th minute, Gao Peng Ran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Brudzisz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Abílio Severiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gao Peng Ran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artur Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gao Peng Ran in the 18th minute of the match. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Northland Vikings from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gao Peng Ran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Brudzisz was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Benne Benneborg made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Horaţiu Bacalbașa sent off a good shot on target. Artur Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran in the 40th minute of play. Benne Benneborg was a little too slow when Horaţiu Bacalbașa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gao Peng Ran hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Gao Peng Ran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Artur Brudzisz made a huge save. In the 58th match minute, Bacardi Black Bats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão França to maneuver through the defense. Artur Brudzisz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gao Peng Ran's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Northland Vikings were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Bacardi Black Bats's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonio Čolak took the corner. Northland Vikings's Antonio Čolak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artur Brudzisz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz got control of the ball when Gao Peng Ran tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute Horaţiu Bacalbașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Peng Ran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristóvão França kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Bacardi Black Bats's Alexandre Mafra was substituted for Quentin Platt. Northland Vikings's Ture Waller was substituted for Gao Peng Ran. The supporters of Northland Vikings booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benne Benneborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abílio Severiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Ture Waller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artur Brudzisz, 2-3. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Silverio Padro with Antonio Čolak as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Northland Vikings supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Northland Vikings would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
