Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's João Vítor de Amorim threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Diablos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reimundo Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Vítor de Amorim came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 16th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Vítor de Amorim. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. João Vítor de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaviedes Arrese in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Diablos FC's Kaviedes Arrese. But to his dismay, Kaviedes Arrese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

João Vítor de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Kaviedes Arrese made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaviedes Arrese in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Kaviedes Arrese's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. João Vítor de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaviedes Arrese in the 71st minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Kaviedes Arrese who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Diablos FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diablos FC's Omar Gochicoa was substituted for Hernan Randoli. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Sydney Alcântara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Kaviedes Arrese who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Diablos FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Diablos FC's Reimundo Casado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88thth minute of the game Franklin Hostos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Hostos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Asencio Cuffaro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 93rd minute of play forced Diablos FC's goalkeeper João Vítor de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of Diablos FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ecuador had held the ball for most of the match.
