Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Gorjanu in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ACS Echipa Ursilor Brasov getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Niculae Şania hit a great ball. Cornel Gorjanu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Basarab Nuțu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. ACS Echipa Ursilor Brasov's Basarab Nuțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 65th minute of play. Lucian Cangeopol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucian Cangeopol slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basarab Nuțu was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Sebastian Villa got in the 73rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Basarab Nuțu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Aristide Chesaru kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. ACS Echipa Ursilor Brasov's Basarab Nuțu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
