In a very dangerous position, a player in Kazak SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! In the 16th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 20th minute, Kazak SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Kazak SK's Tom Sandström got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Kazak SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador were furious when Primitivo Andino was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kazak SK:s goal. The referee gave Kazak SK a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Davíð Diallo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 沈彬瑜 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Göran Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Sandström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kazak SK's goalkeeper Tom Sandström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Davíð Diallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Kazak SK's Leif Vallman. But to his dismay, Leif Vallman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Sandström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kazak SK's Tom Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 59th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when 沈彬瑜 sent off a good shot on target. After 83 played minutes Kazak SK got a freekick which was hit by Leif Vallman. Tom Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 86th minute. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kazak SK's Leif Vallman got a free kick in the 91st minute. Harseno Ekayana scored 2-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 97 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Davíð Diallo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Kazak SK's Davíð Diallo to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
