Kazak SK's Tom Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Sandström saved Kazak SK from getting behind. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harseno Ekayana in the 47th minute of the match.

Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 沈彬瑜 ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Sandström. Kazak SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kazak SK were furious when Hans Uggstedt was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 94 minutes into the game, one of Kazak SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Mexico a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Gaona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kazak SK's Tom Sandström. 0-3. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
