Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dainius Bagdonas made the kick off and thus started the match. Yusuf Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 3rd minute of play. Esteban Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Talip Ecemiş, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Yusuf Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Semail Özbir got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Dainius Bagdonas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Mehmet Şefik Ubeydullah hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yusuf Stegen. Yusuf Stegen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When San Diego FC's Dainius Bagdonas in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. Semail Özbir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. In the 33rd match minute, San Diego FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Mierzejewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Sebastian Villa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yusuf Stegen skillfully saved the ball. When Talip Ecemiş came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the San Diego FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Talip Ecemiş couldn't finish the play. Yusuf Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Semail Özbir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute Semail Özbir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yusuf Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Semail Özbir came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yusuf Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Yusuf Stegen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Yusuf Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Şefik Ubeydullah kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mehmet Şefik Ubeydullah in the 80 minute of the game. Yusuf Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yusuf Stegen was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Talip Ecemiş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dainius Bagdonas in the 92nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Talip Ecemiş who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Talip Ecemiş almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save.
