Mateo Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bar Scully had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ján Rudolf charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ján Rudolf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukáč Jančich saved Atletico Lula from getting behind. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Lukáč Jančich despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Atletico Lula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lukáč Jančich should have stopped the shot. Lukáč Jančich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 66th minute of play. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 67th minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Lula's Lukáč Jančich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee ignored Atletico Lula's protests and gave Maros Dubovský a yellow card for diving instead. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
