The audience was convinced that Stasio Borowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Karol Karbowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, Sylwester Barna notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zygmunt Pyrtek was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Herbalists Opole's Qu Yun got a free kick in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Qu Yun came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Kornatowski during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roland Kornatowski hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Stasio Borowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Kornatowski made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Benedykt Werra. In the 75th minute, Stasio Borowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herbalists Opole fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Rafal Cwojdak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karol Karbowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 89 minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Pyrtek notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Herbalists Opole fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
