Tolek Czeberowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play forced White Knight's goalkeeper Tolek Czeberowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolek Czeberowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play forced White Knight's goalkeeper Tolek Czeberowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolek Czeberowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Czeberowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tord Lindholm in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Lindholm came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that White Knight's Tolek Czeberowski managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when White Knight was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zikri Rüstem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolek Czeberowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Tolek Czeberowski in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tolek Czeberowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the White Knight defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolek Czeberowski. The White Knight fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolek Czeberowski should have stopped the shot. After 88 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thomas Bramantio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led White Knight's Thomas Bramantio to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tord Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than White Knight.
