An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play forced White Knight's goalkeeper Tolek Czeberowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. White Knight's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by White Knight's Erik Ahlquist. Joel Gaona's late challenge caught a White Knight's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Gaona helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, White Knight's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 55 minutes into the match, White Knight's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Tolek Czeberowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when White Knight was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Eron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mexico played a much better game than White Knight and deserved their victory. The White Knight players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
