In the 29th minute, Skarpa Ełk's 肖伟义 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Di Song Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Skarpa Ełk's Jonathan Ereinotz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. If 肖伟义 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 肖伟义. In the 44th minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 肖伟义 to make the kick off. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖伟义, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 肖伟义, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 肖伟义's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Camilo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Skarpa Ełk's Jakub Dembowski got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute 肖伟义 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 肖伟义 might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso.
