Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sergio Obiaga made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurde Rafecas in the 12th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Modroñes's Jama Macia. Jama Macia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute of play forced Modroñes's goalkeeper Jama Macia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jama Macia came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jama Macia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chalá Albertos fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Modroñes's protests and gave Chalá Albertos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Modroñes getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Chalá Albertos hit a great ball. Modroñes's Jama Macia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play. In the 39th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jama Macia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xurde Rafecas charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xurde Rafecas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Modroñes's Xurde Rafecas got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Modroñes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-3.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Javier Baranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modroñes's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Baranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jama Macia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xurde Rafecas hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Jama Macia made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Chalá Albertos lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 57 played minutes Modroñes got a freekick which was hit by Chalá Albertos. Jama Macia made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jama Macia made a huge save. Daniel Zorita in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jama Macia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jama Macia having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 1-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jama Macia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stalin Revillas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jama Macia made a huge save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jama Macia having to interfere. In the 84thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modroñes's Jama Macia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zosimo Mescua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primitivo Andino's late challenge caught a Modroñes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Andino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Zosimo Mescua might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zosimo Mescua ran back to his position shaking his head. The Modroñes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
