The M0RF1G4Z fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredão do Nascimento should have stopped the shot. Alfredão do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Zalipski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Feng Ting Yuan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Harkujärve JK's Ernesto Daniel Justiniano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Netto got free with Odin Son in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harkujärve JK's Odin Son proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Harkujärve JK from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Harkujärve JK's Taavet Vest was substituted for Carcelén Vicente. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taavet Vest to make the kick off.
