Du made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 9 minutes on the clock, Fryderyk Debowski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to NDVX getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fryderyk Debowski hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Du read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Arkadiusz Wogensen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NDVX and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NDVX's Du was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kazimierz Birkenhagen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 19th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Du was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes NDVX's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Du despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience cheered when Daniel Zorita's long shot passed Du's right side. It was 1-3, 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when NDVX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Pietrasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half.
