Christof Cartus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. KS Greenpi's Mariusz Pochorylo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 11th minute of play. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that KS Greenpi's Mariusz Pochorylo managed to reach the ball for a save. 15 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of KS Greenpi's Mariusz Pochorylo. Mariusz Pochorylo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of KS Greenpi booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christof Cartus in the 57th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of play forced KS Greenpi's goalkeeper Mariusz Pochorylo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Mariusz Pochorylo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Joel Gaona in the 76thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Greenpi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Luca Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariusz Pochorylo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luca Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deng Kang Kang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
