Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ludwig Hägg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lennart Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 8th minute of play. Lennart Juhlin came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Saint Glenn Gothenburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neville Staples to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play forced Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Lennart Juhlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Hägg in the 21st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Lennart Juhlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Lennart Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludwig Hägg in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lennart Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play. Lennart Juhlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Saint Glenn Gothenburg getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ola Snell hit a great ball. With a little luck, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Lennart Juhlin got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludwig Hägg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Neville Staples charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neville Staples the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Neville Staples got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Lennart Juhlin made a huge save. When Mahoma Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Saint Glenn Gothenburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahoma Lopez couldn't finish the play. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Dawid Watarz was substituted for Demesio Faxardo. Alberto Tafalla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Lennart Juhlin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alberto Tafalla had several of the Saint Glenn Gothenburg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Lennart Juhlin as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 84 played minutes Saint Glenn Gothenburg got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Marques. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Lennart Juhlin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 92 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Juhlin. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Hägg in the 95th minute of play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Saint Glenn Gothenburg.
