Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Severo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Edgar Lang put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

50 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Severo. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Lang in the 51st minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 55 minutes, Júlio Severo made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Júlio Severo in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgar Lang was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. FC ARK CS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With an all-out effort, FC ARK CS's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgar Lang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barry Charles came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post.
