Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Herblay's Arnaud Konieczny. But to his dismay, Arnaud Konieczny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dimitri Bougault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonin Dagorne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute, Norbert Cadart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herblay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaud Konieczny, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 24th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arnaud Konieczny came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Herblay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaud Konieczny couldn't finish the play. Noureddine Gerbeau kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Kajdasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Arnaud Konieczny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaud Konieczny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The throw-in from Billy Magnin in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. In the 40th minute, Antonin Dagorne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After the first half Herblay were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaud Konieczny made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Herblay's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antonin Dagorne, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 56 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaud Konieczny got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dimitri Bougault. Thanks to some nice moves Norbert Cadart could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 70th minute. Billy Magnin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Antonin Dagorne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Arnaud Konieczny had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 80 minutes Herblay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz did a great save. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Antonin Dagorne scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 0-6. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaud Konieczny. Joël Willaume hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The supporters of Herblay booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaud Konieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Sylvain Missonnier. Herblay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
