The referee ignored Yenimahallegücü's protests and gave Doruk Kelim a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Yenimahallegücü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Garip Osmanoğlu. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Kudret Güngör took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Yenimahallegücü got a freekick which was hit by Şahin Kamber. 28 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garip Osmanoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32ndth minute of the game Kudret Güngör who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Enis Behiç Afacan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yenimahallegücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Enis Behiç Afacan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hamdi Deveci, made in the 38th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qian Kuan.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Necati Zaik in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. With his leg Garip Osmanoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Güneri Ünveren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Garip Osmanoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. In the 82nd minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Garip Osmanoğlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kudret Güngör in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Kudret Güngör had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kudret Güngör was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Yenimahallegücü's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
