Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Diego Manex had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Manex was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Manex in the 14th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Diego Manex sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. In the 20th minute, Diego Manex made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 23rd minute Arsenio Darien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Troy Kennedy hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Diego Manex left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cieneguita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Manex in the 31st minute of play. Stanley Wallace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Blas Matthew made a huge save. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Manex went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Gaudencio Ruisko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Mariano Berdoi sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. After 48 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Doyle. Diego Manex struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cieneguita. The Curacao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cieneguita were winning 0-8.

Diego Manexs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Bruno Barrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th minute, Diego Manex left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cieneguita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Manex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Cox hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Diego Manex sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Cieneguita's Urbano Theobald got a free kick in the 69th minute. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casimiro Lop charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Lop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Jesco in the 87th minute. Gaudencio Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Cieneguita's Bruno Barrett threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Mateo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Manex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Darien got free with Bruno Barrett in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Cieneguita left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Curacao.
