Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes Nottingham Forrest F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Couto. In the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Nottingham Forrest F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Nottingham Forrest F.C defense, Juan Sebastián Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Bueno. The Nottingham Forrest F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Bueno should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Nicolas Sergipano sent off a good shot on target. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nottingham Forrest F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Nicolas Sergipano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Sergipano in the 25th minute of the match. Nottingham Forrest F.C were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Igor Neto took the corner. Artur Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Sergipano in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nottingham Forrest F.C's Artur Bueno. Artur Bueno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Sergipano in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nottingham Forrest F.C made a substitution. Belmiro de Almeida replaced Nestor Paraibano. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artur Bueno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nicolas Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Artur Bueno saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nottingham Forrest F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Nottingham Forrest F.C's Nicolas Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Artur Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Bueno having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Sergipano came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. With a little luck, Nottingham Forrest F.C's Artur Bueno got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line.
