The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Osasun was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Florencio Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play. The El coca fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Peru's Florencio Osasun threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 76 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Noguera came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Noguera in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Florencio Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. 83 minutes in the game Wen Zheng Zhen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jardel Van Landschoot.
