When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCB team's goalkeeper Adrian Železný, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Adrian Železný didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diederiek Dirckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, FCB team's Sabastian 尉迟 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrian Železný made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. Adrian Železný showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 39th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Sabastian 尉迟 managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCB team's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabastian 尉迟 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FCB team's Adrian Železný got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute. Adrian Železný made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Kamber Aydınoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Diederiek Dirckx made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Sabastian 尉迟 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Sabastian 尉迟 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kamber Aydınoğlu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Železný having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, FCB team could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
