Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Ekialde Balsera started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frasco Esquivel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frasco Esquivel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasco Esquivel having to interfere. Frasco Esquivel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 17th minute of the match. Frasco Esquivel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 31st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frasco Esquivel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. AFC United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The AFC United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-3.

In the 52nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Frasco Esquivel. AFC United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Pirro Pereta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Facundo Cadaval to score against Frasco Esquivel in AFC United's goal. 0-5 after 57 minutes. Frasco Esquivel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balesio Leiva hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match Balesio Leiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Archibaldo Ahumada hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. When Pirro Pereta fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC United's protests and gave Pirro Pereta a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when AFC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pirro Pereta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roegelio Moyua hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The AFC United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
