Arnulfo Evis made a great header on Falckner FC's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 9th minute Gianluca Vialli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Vialli's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Gianluca Vialli took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Gianluca Vialli came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Falckner FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gianluca Vialli couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Andres Maiorga got a free kick in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, Gianluca Vialli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Maldonado came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Gianluca Vialli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gianluca Vialli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Vialli in the 45th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Gianluca Vialli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Honduras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Falckner FC were winning 0-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gianluca Vialli to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, one of Honduras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Arnulfo Evis:s penalty. Anastasio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Maiorga during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Maiorga. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gianluca Vialli sent off a good shot on target. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anastasio Maldonado having to make a save. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Baldovino in the 64th minute of the match.
